Telework Advocacy will host the 3rd annual Telework Summit at Fort Mason Conference Center in San Francisco on Sept. 20-21. Building upon the success of previous events, Telework Summit 2011 brings together telework advocates from the public and private sector to provide them with real-world tools and solutions to “take the next steps” toward developing or improving a telework program. Going beyond telework rhetoric and regurgitation of telework benefits, this event highlights business cases, blueprints, technology and real results from successful telework programs.
This year’s keynote speakers include Jerry Applegate from Cisco’s acclaimed Virtual Office internal telework program serving over 24,000 users and Tim Lorman from TIAA-CREF. In order to maximize the value of attending, breakout sessions will include speakers and content that are specific to the organizational role of the attendee. Tracks will be focused on HR, IT and Operations/Executive roles and speakers will discuss solutions to many common telework obstacles that occur in these areas. In addition, Telework Summit’s annual dinner and networking event will take place on the decks of the California Hornblower, a dinner cruiseliner, which will take attendees on a scenic tour of San Francisco Bay from perspective that few get to experience.
Telework Summit is supported by a group of leading telework solutions providers including Officescape, Time Warner, Charter, Comcast, D-Link, Teletrips, e-Work, LearnCast, Cisco and more.
