About the Position:


McAfee's 3rd Line Technical Support Team is a diverse mix of highly customer service orientated and technically skilled Technical Support Analysts.


Every Engineer is vital to the success of this highly effective team and ensures that our customers are provided with the innovative, effective and timely solutions they require to complete their tasks and resolve issues.


As the Engineer you will be the key interface between our customers, technical support teams and Research & Development, you will be working with our software engineers on the highest level escalations involving our biggest customers. You will also be a member of the Product Development Core Team where you will represent customers and the McAfee support organization in product development while providing technical product knowledge to groups outside engineering.

Excellent training on products is, of course, provided but it is an advantage if you already have some technical & soft skills as highlighted below:


Key Responsibilities:


- Strong understanding of Microsoft / UNIX operating systems
- Knowledge of Network Security, switching, routing/routing protocols, IP, Firewalls, VPN's
- Good SQL skills
- Experience in IT providing technical support
- Extensive troubleshooting and testing skills (i.e. analytic, be able to narrow down on a problem, use documentation, tools, etc to troubleshoot)
- Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) at multiple levels with customers (i.e. technical / management)
- Preferred: MSCE, CCNA, CISSP or similar industry-recognized certifications
- Ability to maintain professional poise under pressure
- Ability to act as a resource and handle highest level of escalation
- Ability to provide technical training to peers and other teams
- Ability to coach and mentor others


Qualifications

- At least 3-4 years of full time experience in customer care/customer support
- Advanced writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements
- Strong personal organization skills
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent applicable working experience

About the Role:


Reporting to McAfee’s Senior Vice President Solutions & Product Marketing, the Vice President of Pricing Strategies is a highly visible executive responsible for the overall corporate pricing strategies and policies for McAfee products and services globally. Pricing strategy is essential to maximizing revenue, profitability, sales/channel productivity, and customer satisfaction and this VP of Pricing Strategies will have full responsibility for leading this major initiative.


Key Responsibilities:


- This VP will work closely with Product and Solution Marketing, Product Management, Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, and other functional groups within McAfee to understand the product roadmap and define the future packaging/pricing across McAfee’s products.
- This also include establishing international pricing and price-related policies for different geographic regions.
- The responsibilities also include devising strategies to efficiently handle the impact of international currency fluctuation.
- Ensuring that our product roadmap can be effectively handled within our pricing strategies will also be critical for this individual.
- The VP of Pricing Strategies will collect and synthesize input from executives, marketing, sales, partners, customers, and competitive data into an effective and compelling pricing strategy.
- They will work closely with product management and marketing to determine pricing and packaging strategy for new features and products in development.
- The VP will lead the market research and analysis efforts to support strategic pricing and packaging decisions. They will help increase sales and channel productivity with regard to pricing and licensing and evaluate the impact of pricing strategy on corporate profit, revenues, and partner programs.
- As a key member of the Marketing organization, this VP should be a charismatic leader with excellent executive presentation and business communication skills. This individual will regularly provide recommendations to C-level executives to gain alignment on pricing strategies.


Qualifications


Required Experience/Skills & Education:


- The final candidate will possess ssuperior analytical, strategic, communication and organizational skills. They will have a track record of working effectively with C-level executives and stakeholders at all levels across the organization and will have outstanding written and verbal presentation skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Preferred:


- The ideal candidate will have proven experience in pricing strategies at innovative technology companies- specifically setting IT solutions pricing. Experience at a global level within the high tech industry is highly desired.
- The ideal candidate should be comfortable with quantitative and qualitative research, and be able to work with a large amount of market research data. They will be able to identify and develop solutions to complex pricing problems from a strategic and operational perspective
- A Masters in Business Administration or an advanced degree is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:


Primary responsibility is to develop and execute marketing programs to generate revenue and acquire customers. This includes but is not limited to the following:

- This person has created and implemented a process of proven product management that led to shorten the time from concept to product introduction. The final candidate will bring product roadmap creation experience short-and long-term as well as have the skills to lead teams of Product Managers on the proper implementation of the roadmap.


- This person will have had overall business experience with proven sales and marketing experience and strong in product management, and accelerating time to market. It is essential that the Vice President, Product Management has a successful track record in managing fast growing companies, setting aims and objectives of the Organization and those objectives in a timely manner. This person must be able to connect and give a direction to the product development teams on market and customer requirements with content-rich input. General familiarity with technical integration development is desired.
