Basic function and scope of the position
-Act as a Technology Evangelist/Trusted Security Advisor
-Accelerate strategic relationships to "C" level for mindshare with customers revenue & APAC top strategic focus
Duties or specific tasks:
-Offer technical seminars, workshops and strategic optimization security reviews for strategic accounts and partners
-Develop strategic relationships and revenue with Top influencers and partners in APAC
-Identifying customer requirements and develop strategic plans to capture the untapped opportunities in existing and new solutions for needs of solution
-Keep the technical/industry expertise in solutions and McAfee security technologies.
-Provide feedback on APAC market technical requirements to the product management team.
-Assistance in the management and success of influence using appropriate levels of resources available.
-Where appropriate, develop and assist in APAC-wide initiatives for recruiting/promoting strategic Channel partner and ensure/nurture outranked-reference customers.
-You will work with quarterly objectives and act as the strategic/Technical Evangelist for the product line supports sales functions to increase revenue and customer initiatives unit of channel and end user.
-Implement a technical business development plan, business units within new and existing customers; working through and leveraging resources and APAC sales team.
Qualifications
Experience, knowledge and skills:
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, similar or equivalent field.
-In-depth knowledge of data loss prevention is essential
-Required – worked in a similar role for a similar-sized vendor
-8 + years engineering or systems engineering background
-Deep knowledge and understanding of the security industry and the risks, vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
-Highly experienced in the development and maintenance of the relations of levels C
-CISSP and other industry certifications preferred

Education and/or experience required for this position
-Self-starter, focused on the customer and one who can work well with other inside sales, marketing and engineering organizations as well as Department and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
-Understand security and network infrastructure and experience with security technologies of information including anti-virus, firewall, etc.
-Ability to refine the complex problems to well-defined problems and recommendations, and ability to draw objective conclusions which can be motivated with well-reasoned arguments – especially when supporting data are sparse.
-This position will require travel on a frequent basis within the country and in some occasions may involve international travel.
